The Divine Incarnation

Yogiraj Sri Gagangiri Maharaj was revered and worshipped as Emperor Chalukya Pulakeshi, the great warrior king of ancient India.

Born in the Patankar family, his original name was Sripad. He hailed from the village Manadure in Patan district of South Maharashtra. At the tender age of 7, he left his home and went to Battees-Shirala, marking the beginning of his spiritual journey.

Recognized as an incarnation of Lord Dattatreya, Gagangiri Maharaj traveled extensively across India, establishing ashrams and spreading his divine teachings. His spiritual powers and miracles attracted devotees from all walks of life.
